COLOR COMBO GALORE 206

This week the Color Combo Galore presents a monochromatic palette so this was a real challenge for me, if you followed my blog you know that I love colors, yes, bright colors but I tried it and I had a lot of fun!!
In addition to the color combo is the designer's challenge as inspired by the photo. You should use wood, a tittle in capital letters, a striped element, a transparency and create the effect of a ledge.  And this was my inspiration.....

I made this page about my hubby, I think this color combo is perfect for masculine pages.   I used wood in Kaiser Craft's Wooden Flourishes that I painted with gray and black colors.   I made ,or tried to make, the ledge with the  corrugated band that is my striped element, the transparency is for Maya Road and my tittle with caps...all done!!

COLOR COMBO GALORE(204-205)

Hi my blogger friends!!!  How are you doing?  This is my second post today, you can see the first one at the end of this post.  I'm off  from "Blog land" these days. I couldn't visit some of my friend's blogs.  The hurricane Irene swept our island last Sunday and I was without power service until yesterday.  A lot of people continue without basic services here, the worst part of the hurricane was the rains and the floods, many people lost everything but we're fine.
I'm going to show you two of my last works for The Color Combo Galore.  This first one is for the CCG-205, I really love this color combo and the Designer challenge, when I saw the inspirational photo I remembered that I got this photo from July,25 ...and this was my inspiration.....

Hola mis amigas blogeras!!  Como han estado?  Yo estoy bien desconectada de "Blod land" estos días.  No he podido visitar los blogs de mis amigas.   El huracán Irene visito nuestra isla el pasado domingo y estuve sin servicio de electricidad hasta el otro día.  Todavía hay mucha gente aquí sin los servicios básicos, la peor parte del huracán fueron las lluvias e inundaciones muchas personas perdieron sus pertenencias pero estamos bien GAD.
Les voy a ensenar dos de mis últimos trabajos para Color Combo Galore.
Esta primera pagina es para CCG205, realmente me encanto estos colores y el reto del diseñador, cuando vi la foto de inspiración me recordé de esta foto que tomaron el pasado 25 de Julio...y así me inspire.....

For the Designer challenge you should use a mesh or woven material so I made my mesh with cardstock and patttern paper.  I added  the teal color with paint and with the rub-ons. I painted the dressform that is from Maya road and my sweet friend Mary gave it to me. 

My cousin took me this picture in our Family Day last July 25.  The flowers are from Prima.

This is my page for CCG 204 and I love the inspirational photos bring me peace, calm and makes me feel relax.   I looked these photos from my anniversary trip that are perfect for this challenge.  For the Designer challenge you should made a grid design, well I made it  with my photos.

I love the deck in the inspirational photo so I used a corrugated for my background that I painted in brown color.

I got the corals, shells, sea glass  and rocks from the beach.  The starfish are from BoBunny papers.  I liked to give the look of sea grass so I cut some cardstock strips.  Rub-ons and the tittle are from K & Company.

The Paper Trail- DT

I made the DT in The Paper Trail and our first challenge consist in made a Birthday card without "Birthday papers".  I like to have cards that I already finished for when I need them, so this challenge is great for me.  Karen the owner of The Paper Trail an online store sent me the Basic Grey - Out of Print line and I used these papers for my card.   I made the flower with the same pattern papers.  You can find these materials at The Paper Trail Store.

Blog Hop WINNER!! COLOR COMBO GALORE & SCRAPFIT!!!

Hi!!! My blogger friends...I've been missing in on the action I know it  but life goes a little complicated sometimes.  I  still have problems with my stomach...hmmm!  and this situation drains my energy I feel very tired but the good news is I finished all the wedding dresses, yesss!!!so I'm going to be more crafty for the next weeks .
I'm going to show you two pages that I made and I didn't have time to post them before, the first one is for the Color Combo Galore #202 and the second one is for Scrapfit workout.
I love this color combo!! and I made this page about my niece Sabrina and her talking style, she talks like an older person very mature for her age I love to see her when she's talking because she even talks with her arms.


Hola!!!  Mis amigas blogeras...He estado perdida en accion, lo se pero a veces la vida se nos complica un poco.  Sigo enferma del estomago hmmmm! y esta situacion me tiene sin energias y cansada todo el tiempo pero lo bueno es que ya termine todos los trajes de boda que tenia y ahora puedo escrapear mas en las proximas semanas.
Les voy a monstrar dos paginas que habia hecho y no habia podido ponerlas en el blog antes,  la primera es para Color Combo Galore #202 y la segunda es para Scrapfit workout.
Me encanta esta paleta de colores #202 y hice esta pagina sobre mi sobrina Sabrina y su estilo al hablar, ella habla como una persona adulta es madura para su edad y me encanta mirarla mientras esta hablando si la vieran ella habla hasta con sus manos.

I made this page for Scrapfit- "Put a Banner on it"- workout #49. and  I gave this page to my special friend Edna in her Birthday party that was a crop.   We had a great time making what we most love "scrapbooking" all day!!  And for this workout you need to put a banner on your page.  I used the banner like embellishment but you can use it for the tittle, etc... go to Scrapfit for to see what the Design Team did......HERE

Hice esta pagina para Scrapfit- "Put a Banner on it"-workout #49 y le regale esta pagina a una amiguita especial...Edna en su cumpleaños que fue un crop y la pasamos divino haciendo lo que mas nos gusta "scrapbooking" todo el dia!! Y para este "workout" tienes que poner unos banderines en tu pagina.  Mis banderines los use como adorno pero tu lo puedes usar para el titulo, etc.... ve a Scrapfit para que veas lo que hizo el equipo de diseno....AQUI
