A Shabby Chic Large Tag - Creative Embelishments

Hello! I share with you a Romantic Tag and Video Tutorial that I made using the fabulous chipboard and products by Creative Embellishments .  It is a Large Tag (10"  by 5 1/2 " inches) and I  took the  Flourish 15  ,  Flourish Page Corner ,   Spanish Happy Word Set  and adhered them to the  Large Tag  . with gel medium, then I gave a coat of white gesso to all the pieces and the tag. You can see all the process in the video tutorial at the end of the post. I applied gesso to one of the  Butterflies(set 3)  then adhered over a small resin frame. I also adhered a few  Buttons .  Once I created a design with all the chipboards,  I gave textures around them with the  Fairy Dust 2 Stencil  and modeling paste. I adhered art stones, glass beads, pearls and flowers around the chipboards.  I painted with Color Blooms, wax and Distress Oxides the chipboards and the stones. Other s...

November challenge - Creative Embellishment

It's November and it's time for a new challenge at Creative Embellishments blog. This month the beautiful image has the fall colors and the twist is to use a flourish, here's my take...  I was inspired by the fall colors in the beautiful image. I created this tag using similar colors and with a Thankful sentiment that goes perfect for the season.  I used  Creative Embellishments product like the Flourish Corner 2 that I painted with distress oxides.  I stamped randomly with the Distressed Text Stamp.    I gave textures on the background with the Fairy Dust Stencil and Copper glitter paste. As usual please be inspired by at least one of the elements from the picture  and the twist is to use a flourish on our project. I painted the  Flourish Corner 2 with Distress Oxide -Vintage Photo Challenge Guidelines: >Create a  NEW  project  layout, mini album, tag, card, canvas,  etc….as of...

Catching Stars Tag

Hello!! I made a tag with lot of textures and layers with the fantastic chipboard by Creative Embellishments. I took one piece from the Tag Album to create the tag. I adhered the Catching word from the Beach Word Set 2  and all the stars with adhesive. Once everything was dry, I applied gesso over all the pieces. I gave textures on the background with the Fairy Dust stencil and modeling paste. I selected this adorable Fairy chipboard from the Fairies    and some stars from the Buttons chipboard . I gave more textures adding arts stones and glass beads to the tag. You can see from this angle all the textures and dimensions. Creative Embellishments chipboards.... HERE

Layered Romantic Tag- Scrapbook Adhesives

Hello scrapper friends! I'm Guest Designer at Scrapbook Adhesives for the next months and I'm going to share with you my first project using their fantastic products. I created a romantic tag with  layers of fabrics, cord and flowers that I adhered with Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium and the Dual Tip Glue Pen.   Let’s take a look… I adhered the red paper to the chipboard tag with the Dual Tip Glue Pen. The ivory paper was adhered using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Stripes. For the layers, I added jute and cheesecloth. I adhered both with the Dual Tip Glue Pen – it’s great for adhering fabric. Next, I adhered different flowers with the Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium. For the finishing touch, I put a metallic tag as my title which I adhered with the Dual Tip Glue Pen. Thanks for stopping by…until next time! Marilyn Rivera Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Supplies: E-Z Runner® Permanent Stripes Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium HomeHobby: Du...

I made paper piercing with the cup and mixed two collections of papers , the borders of the cup are made with the Splash it! and the rest of the cup with the Mr. & Mrs. collection.  I gave dimension to the label that I cut out of one of the papers in the Splash it collection and also to the rabbit with 3d foam tape.
