A Sewing Box...

Hello!  Today I will show this sewing box I made with the gorgeous Autumn Vintage Basics collection by Maja Design.

I used  the paper No. XII for both sides to cover my box added molding paste to create textures around the box.

I love the sewing chipboard by Scrapmatts and I added a real zipper and threads with lots of flowers.

I put inside my box a needle case, thread, pins and scissor...this is perfect for a gift.

I hope this project inspire you to create something special for someone...

In my first page I did a knitting with stripes of different pattern papers and I prepared a step by step tutorial of my background work in this page so stay tuned to My Creative Scrapbook blog for the tutorial this month.
I just adore this kit, Pam chose the perfect embellishments, lace and flowers to coordinate this beautiful papers.

For my second page I worked with the beautiful paper doily, the flower trim, the stickers, buttons, brads, Prima flowers from the kit. The leaves are from a Sizzix die cut and the tiny flowers are handmade.

3-A Delightful Day

In my third page I worked with the Elementals Canvas Borders and painted in apricot and blue colors. I also used the buttons, brads, lace, Prima burlap flowers, Melissa Frances' flowers, ivory and coral roses all these gorgeousness comes in the Limited Edition kit and to add more textures in my page I used molding paste and a mask in my background.

4-What's Up

My last page is about my son Xander when he was a baby and one of his favorite phrases was "Que paso" in Spanish that means "What's up" in English. I did my usual paper drape to create dimension in my page and decorated it with the stars stickers, brads, buttons, a piece of paper doily, the Prima cards and the canvas borders that I painted in baby blue.
I took the big beige flower and made two more flowers from the two big petals and I made it a medium flower.
