COLOR COMBO GALORE 209

Hi!!!  I hope everybody is fine.  My kids are sick and now I'm too!  Grrr...very difficult for me to make a page when I don't feel well, it takes me a long time to be inspired with something.  This week's  Color Combo Galore has this lovely striking color palette and this inspirational photo that was my inspiration.  I was focused in those shelves and I used the lid of a white jewelry box like my frame and tie with the twine. This is my page........ I have this photo from a vacation we did a few years ago and Paola is wearing this shirt that the colors fits perfect with this color palette and at the same time she has this orange tan, lol! she has a very white skin and every time she took a little of sun she looks like a shrimp or a red apple.  If you follow my blog you know that I love w/b photos but this one goes perfect with the colors. COLOR COMBO GALORE 207, SCRAPFIT & THE PAPER TRAIL

COLOR COMBO GALORE Hello!!! I hope everyone is fine!  I'm so happy because I'm going to take two weeks off from work, yesss! I really need it!  This is a long holiday weekend here, we're celebrating Labor Day this next Monday.  For that reason, I will show you three pages in this post, I'm going on a trip with my family around the island.  This month's theme in Color Combo Galore is all about books and reading.  This week's Designer challenge: Focus on Type-Dictionary or Text type prints and an unusual but lovely color combo, I really love these challenges!!!! And this was my inspiration.....  I made this page about my son Alexander when he had 3 1/2 years old.  One day I came to the room and I found him with his daddy glasses and acting like his dad.  I got my camera and took this photo.   I used Basic Grey papers, Dusty Attic chipboard, CTMH chipboard and papers and American Craft & Bazzil cardstocks.
