Forever Love- Maja Design

Hello lovely scrappers! I continue in the mood to make Spring pages, here in North Carolina everything is turning green and blooming, it looks so pretty! Today I share with you another spring page using various Maja Design collections: Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Summer Basics, Vintage Autumn Basics and Walking in the Forest collection. Here are my kids and this photo make me laugh, I was taking a photo of these two and I said "cheese" and my kids put these funny faces at the same time, lol, that every time I see this photo make me smile and I wanted use it in a page and finally I did it.  I'm playing in OUAS and B71B challenges with my page. I was inspired in the OUAS April sketch and the theme and made the flowers by hand like B71B challenge. Some fussy cutting (clocks) from the XVI paper-Vintage Autumn Basics collection. I love dimension on my work so I draped the paper and I used 3-d dots. All the flowers except the big one are handma...

Welcome Spring with Maja Design - April Moodboard

Hello! Finally looks like Spring is coming here and it make me happy!! I love to see all beautiful flowers and the trees are wearing green leaves! Today I share with you this spring page I made about my DD Paola using one of my favorite collection...Vintage Spring Basics by Maja Design .  My inspiration was a full pleated skit that I made a time ago and I created the same effect with the Maja Design papers. I tie the tag with a jute and added cheesecloth around the flowers. I cut the tags, butterflies and the tittle from the "Days to remember" paper All the flowers are from Prima and I made the leaves using two punches one from Martha Steward and the other from Stamping Up. Supplies: Days to Remember, 4th, 6th and 7th of May papers by Vintage Spring Basics collection, Prima flowers, Martha Steward & Stamping Up punches, Liquitex gesso, acrylic paint. It's April and Maja Design has a new mood board that has a Easter theme and is based in the Vint...

I combined my DT work with the February challenge at Once Upon an Sketch and I was inspired by Nadia' sketch although at the end...I added a second photo.   I started to cut stripes with different Maja Design papers, distressed them and made layers weaving the stripes.   In my background I used a Prima stencil and homemade molding paste. Some washi tape, stamps, beats, pearls, buttons and paints. Prima flowers and I used a Tim Holtz film die cut. I made some fussy cutting with the Maja paper...  air hot balloon The journaling this month at OUAS is... "totally...
