Time Flies...and TPV Blog Hop announcement!

Hola!!  Hoy es un día hermoso aquí en Puerto Rico, un sol radiante y nada caluroso bueno al menos donde yo vivo cerca de las montañas.   Les quiero enseñar esta pagina que hice la semana pasada para Scrapbookchallenges, la plantilla  fue diseñado por Shannon Dombkowski  del Equipo de Diseño.
Esta pagina es muy especial para mi,  es ver como han crecido mis hijos, sus diferentes etapas y tan rápido que se ha ido el tiempo....


Hello!! Today is a beautiful day in Puerto Rico, a shining sun and it's not hot at all well, not were I live, I live near the mountains. I want to show you this page I made last week for Scrapbookchallenges, the sketch was designed by Shannon Dombkowski from the Design Team. This page is very special for me, seeing how my children have grown, their different stages and how fast time flies....

Hi, my blogger friend!! I hope you had a great weekend!!  I'm still fighting with my stomach, hum!!  it's hard to recover!!   Well today is Scrapbookchallenges Sketch 242, this sketch was created by the DT member Cheryl Whittaker.   I used GCD Studios papers for this page.

I made this page about My Bratz Girl,  my daughter Paola participated in her school Talent Show as a Bratz with three more friends, they danced, sang and played the instruments like real artists!  These girls are really Gorgeous!!
I used My Creative Scrapbook kit for this page.

I used The Storybook Cricut  cartridge. Handmade flowers.

I made a tutorial about The Punk flowers that's the way  I called it..

Punk Flower Tutorial

Voy a mostrarles como hice estas flores.  Hay muchos tutoriales con diferentes estilos para hacer flores, yo las trabajo de esta manera.

I will show you how I did these flowers.   There are many tutorials with different styles to make flowers, I work it in this way.

Materiales:    a flower punch- 3 flowers(2 inches)  1flower(1inch), a stick,  chalk ink(cat eye), embossing pad, spray bottle fill with water, heat gun.

Hacer "distressing ink" a cada petalo y luego con el palillo enrollar con cuidado cada petalo hacia una misma direccion en dos de las flores grandes y la pequeña.

Used Distressing Ink on each petal and then carefully roll them with a stick in the same direction on two of the big flowers and the small one.

Debe quedar asi...
It should look like this...

En la otra flor enrollar los petalos en direccion contraria.
On the other flower roll the petals in the opposite direction.

Debe quedar asi..
It should be like this...

Dobla cada pétalo hacia arriba, como en la foto.
Fold each petal facing up, like in the picture.

Rociarle un poquito de agua.

Spray  it with a bit of water.

Dejarlo secar o usa tu heat gun.
Leave it drying or use a heat gun.

Con cuidado dobla los pétalos.
Carefully fold the petals.

Coloca una flor encima de la otra con los petalos doblados en direccion opuesta.
Put one of the flowers on top of the other with the petals folded in opposite direction.

Debe quedar asi..
It should be like this...

Le añadimos la tercera flor y entonces le ponemos el centro de la flor (la flor pequeña).

Add the third flower and then  put the center of the flower (the small flower).

Y ya tenemos nuestras flores.   Espero les halla gustado, Gracias por pasar por aquí!

A FULL LIFE

Hola!!  Espero se encuentren disfrutando el fin de semana!!!  Les quiero compartir este LO que le hice a una amiguita que conocí por medio este hermoso hobby, su nombre es Lucia igual que el nombre de mi mama.  Desde que la conocí siempre ha sido muy dulce y cariñosa conmigo al igual que yo con ella y esta semana fue muy especial pues  Lucia cumplió 70 años y la sorprendimos con una fiestecita!!   Le hice esta pagina como homenaje a una vida plena y bendecida de cosas maravillosas!!
Hello!!!  I hope you're enjoying this weekend!!  I'd like to show you this LO that I made for a friend that I met through this beautiful hobby, her name is Lucia which is also my mother's name.  Ever since I met her she has been very kind with me and I've been the same with her and this week has been very special since Lucia turned 70 and we surprised her with a small party!!
And i made this page in honor of a life filled with wonderful things!!!
