Shabby Chic Cards

Hello!  Today I want to share with you two Shabby Chic cards that I created using Creative Embellishments products.
I put together two pieces of patter paper by Studio 75 that I distressed the borders with the scissor and I adhered them to a white rectangular card base.  I gave textures to each card with modeling paste and two stencils: Crackled Brick  , Fairy Dust.

I used the Fairy Dust stencil to create textures on the background . I took one of the Butterflies Set of 3  and applied gesso with a sponge. Then adhered it to the card.

I gave two coat of gesso to the Bird Cage 4 piece set  and adhered to the card.

I stamped the sentiments on a white cardstock, cut and glue them to the cards.

Other supplies I used:
Studio 75-  The Peony Avenue
Prima Marketing- Modeling Paste
Metallic acrylic paint- pearl
Blue Fern Studios- flowers
Stamperia- sentiment stamp
Martha Steward- heart punch

Magical Mixed Media Layout & Video Tutorial

Hello! Who doesn't love purple....hmmm I do lately, lol!! I made another  purple layout  with the February Limited Edition kit by My Creative Scrapbook. If you follow my work you know that I love to create with the paper, specially gave textures with  and in this video tutorial I show you how I created the design and textures with the same paper. Let's take a look at the page...
I love this paper by 49 & Market that comes in the kit this month and I worked with all the vertical lines on the paper to create this design.

The beautiful pick is from Unsplash. I mat the photo with a craft cardstock and used a die to make the white doily behind the photo.

I painted a piece of fabric to intertwine with the paper and create this rich and soft textures.

I cut the fairy from one of the G45 papers and took one sticker to make the title "Magical Things"

Other products I used;
Ranger
Distress Oxides Inks- wilted violet, frayed burlad
Prima Marketing
art basics- Clear Gesso, Modeling Paste
Art ingredients- art stones, pearls
Color Bloom- Iris

A Shabby Chic Large Tag - Creative Embelishments

Hello! I share with you a Romantic Tag and Video Tutorial that I made using the fabulous chipboard and products by Creative Embellishments
It is a Large Tag (10"  by 5 1/2 " inches) and I  took the Flourish 15 , Flourish Page Corner,  Spanish Happy Word Set and adhered them to the Large Tag . with gel medium, then I gave a coat of white gesso to all the pieces and the tag. You can see all the process in the video tutorial at the end of the post.

I applied gesso to one of the Butterflies(set 3) then adhered over a small resin frame. I also adhered a few Buttons.  Once I created a design with all the chipboards,  I gave textures around them with the Fairy Dust 2 Stencil and modeling paste.

I adhered art stones, glass beads, pearls and flowers around the chipboards.  I painted with Color Blooms, wax and Distress Oxides the chipboards and the stones.

Hello friends! This is my first layout and Video Tutorial with the February Limited Edition kit by My Creative. This month the kit is featuring: Graphic 45, 49 and Market, Prima Marketing and much more...
I love this purple paper by Graphic 45! It looks to me like a purple sky full of stars and I tried to create textures and layers but at the same time highlight the beautiful paper. For that reason I painted the modeling paste in purple, you will see how easy it is in the video tutorial.

The resin frame is from Prima- Frank Garcia and I didn't paint it , I just framed the photo and it looks pretty! The photo is by Unsplash.

These adorable fairies were cut out from the papers from the Fairies Dust collection by Graphic 45.

Flowers are from 49 and Market.
