Patina Effect Mixed Media Canvas

Hello everyone!  I have a mixed media canvas to share with today using the Creative Embellishments chipboard.  I love fairies and fantasy themes so I created a canvas with the Film Strip Picture and the Fairies chipboards. Let’s take a look… I created a design using the chipboard Film Strip Pictures and added one of the pretty Fairies inside the big film strip.  Then I added the words Live, Happy from the Happy Word Set inside the other film strips. Then I gave two coats of gesso over all the chipboard pieces and the canvas.  Once it’s dry I gave the Patina effect . I painted the chipboards with the turquoise color then I apply the textured mint green paint and finally I added  the brass color to create the Patina effect that it’s a trend lately . I also added textures with art stones, micro beads, pearls, buttons, flowers and glass beads that I adhered with gel medium. Other products I used: Prim...

Be the Light Canvas- Bo Bunny

Hi there!! Here's a fine art project that I made for Bo Bunny with the new Faith collection.  I love the messages, design and colors in this collection  and the Faith paper was my inspiration to create this canvas. Sometimes we have difficult situations in our life but not matter how hard it is or how dark it looks, we need to be strong. to have faith, to be the Light and it was my inspiration... I started applying a coat of Penart white gesso over all the canvas. While the canvas is drying, I'm going to cut out images from the papers like the bulb, butterflies and the girl.  Then I painted the half top of the canvas in similar colors to the Faith paper and for that I mixed the Pentart Creamy Acrylic- Baroque Gold & Trumpet Flower and for the bottom of the canvas I mixed the Nimbus and Blue colors. I create textures and a design around the bulb image with cheesecloth, the stickable Lots of Love stencil and gesso. I also added textures on the  bott...

These are my lovely nieces at Disney last December.  The great about MCS kit is that all products are perfectly coordinated and it's easy to create with it. I cut out some flowers, leaves, and butterflies from the papers . I used the kit' stencil to follow the sketch design and add textures at the same time.  I used two chipboard frames in this page, one for the photo and in the other I added a clock like embellishment.  January Sketch For a chance to win, create a layout based on this sketch using any products that you'd like to use, and  link it up on our sketch blog .  The challenge is open to everyone, everywhere (you do not need to be a kit club member!) and ends at midnight Easte...

A Cold Winter Page....

Hi everyone! The new Winter Wishes collection by Bo Bunny is very beautiful, I made a white mixed media winter page with it and I also used the Pentart and Bo Bunny mixed media products. Let's take a look....  I think this collection is perfect to work my photo of last winter, the white trees behind me, the flakes, snow goes perfect with this collection. To create my background I started applying white gesso on the paper, then I added   textures with the Winter Fun Stickable Stencil , Sugar Glitter Paste and white gesso. I couldn't capture the pretty sparkle of the glitter on the photo, but it looked so nice in person. My title is the layered chipboard, I cut out the scissor from one of the papers. I added Noteworthy die cut pieces from the same collection and  jewels to add a variety of textures I used the Pentart 3D powder with the express glue to create the snow effect on my page. It gives a nice texture to the page and it was so easy and fun...
