Fall layout with Beautifully Brisk by Bo Bunny

Hello everyone!  I share with you today a fall layout that I created using the Beautifully Brisk collection. Fall is my favorite season I love the colors everything looks so beautiful and I had so much fun working with this beautiful collection.
I started making circular stitches in the area that I'll place the photo on the Bright pattern paper. I took a sponge with white gesso to give the sponging technique on the background, it gives a nice texture.

I used the layered chipboard and the Noteworthy die cuts to decorate and make the composition. I cut a clock using the Tick Tock die.

I painted a piece of cheesecloth in green color and added between the layers to add more dimension and textures.

The collections comes with brads, layered chipboard and die cuts that makes it easy to design with.

I adhered the die cuts and some chipboard pieces with dimensional foam dots.  I added a few brads, pearls and jewels to enhance the background.

Finally, I added white paint splatters over all  the background and I love the final result. I hope it inspires you, Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a creative day! xo

Land of Wonders projects

Hi there! I have two projects to share with you today. I'm using the beautiful Land of Wonders collection by Bo Bunny. I made a journal cover and a layout, let's take a look..
I just love the beautiful colors and designs of the Fall of Wonder collection that I bought a journal at the Dollar store and covered it using different papers. My base paper has the wood design and adhered a few red torn pieces of paper to the cover. It's a way to give any journal some new pop.

I made the "journal" word using the glitter letters by American Craft. I adhered the adorable cups from the Layered Chipboard package.

I cut  and adhered a few butterflies from the papers with  3D foam tapes, it gives a realistic effect. You can see here the dimension on the cover.

I gave white paint splatters to add textures.

I covered the back cover with the red paper, then I cut some images from the papers to decorate it. I had so much fun altering  this journal. I hope it inspires you to give a try.

My second project is a simple but fun layout, I used different papers and colors from the same collection...

This paper is one of my favorite from the collection , I love the tea cups with the butterflies.  I started adding more textures on the background with the Circular Textures stamp and the Color Wheel Ink . I also dyed a piece of cheesecloth with the same color ink.

This is a fun photo of me and this adorable cat that I took in a recent trip to Maryland .  I cut a doily in black cardstock with the Mandalay Die and put it behind the picture. This collection has beautiful die cuts that I used to make layers behind the photo and to embellish my page.

I added some brads and made the title using one die cut with one chipboard from the collection.

I adhered the die cuts with foam dots to give dimension and provide interesting details.

My last step was adding black paint splatters. I hope it inspires you to create something fun. Thank you so much for stopping by...until next time!

Steampunk Album _ Peru class with photos

Hello everyone! I just came back from Lima, Peru where I was teaching mixed media-scrapbooking classes invited by Vidalina Flores Alarcon from the store Lapiz de Papel . The last day Sunday, I had a steampunk album class using the Imagine collection by Graphic 45 and the Creative Embellishments chipboards, and stencil. I share with you the project and also a few photos of the event.
This is the Regular Book Box by G45 that comes with a tag album. I covered all the exterior and interior of the box with papers from the Imagine collection by Graphic 45.   I gave textures on the cover and spine of the box using the Crackled Brick Stencil by Creative Embellishments with modeling paste by Prima Marketing.

I gave a rusty effect and added dimension  to all the chipboards with the Finnabair Rust pastes. I used the Gear 1 1/2″set and the Mini Gears 3/4″ (set of 12) .

Once you open the box you find the mini tag album that I worked using the Crackled Brick stencil to add texture with the stone effect pastes by Finnabair.

I cut some gears using the Regular Tag and Gears Die by Graphic 45 to decorate some of the tags. I hung up a piece of cheesecloth from the album’s ring tying some chipboard gears.

I decorated the tags with different images that I cut out from the papers and a few rusty gears.

The album has seven tags that we worked both sides.

Now I want to share with you some photos of the Sunday class in Lima Peru by Lapiz de Papel- store. I had a wonderful time with all these lovely ladies so much fun and good vibes!!! I don't feel I was teaching..it is like a crop of scrapper friends... Thanks to all the ladies that attended my classes..Thanks for all the love!! xo

It really make me happy , I can not tell you how much I enjoy to teach and meet other people with the same passion for this hobby.  Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will show you more photos in the next days, stay tuned!!
A Big hug!! xo

3D Altered Box with Video Tutorial- Graphic 45

“Hello everyone! I share with you an interactive pop-up altered box that I made using the Tropical Travelogue collection. I made the 3d pop-up effect coming out from the lid of the wooden box. I created like a shelf hanging of chains from the lid and I will show you all the creative process in the video. Let’s take a look…
I took measurements of all sides of the box, then I cut paper in these sizes and covered the box inside and outside. I prefer to use liquid glue to adhere the paper to the wood.

Once the box was covered, I distressed with a sponge all the edges with the Color Box decades ink to achieve the vintage look.

I cut out some leaves and flowers from the papers to decorate the top of the box. I paste some of the leaves using the 3D foam tape, it gives a realistic effect.

When I open the box the shelf comes out and it’s being held by chains. I decorated the shelf with various leaves and I also incorporated chipboard and sticker.

I mixed colors like black, greens, browns with a touch of orange and I love how they look together and to make it more interesting I added textures with mini art stones.  I gave a rusty effect to the stones with a copper paint.

I added some buttons, pearls and a Metal Clock Key to the lid. It took me some time but it was worthy, I love the final result!  I hope it inspires you and take a look at the video down below. Thank you so much for stopping by today..until next time! xx”

Altered Box- Graphic 45

Hello! I want to share with you an altered box that I made with the beautiful Fairie Dust collection by Graphic 45.
I took one dollar box and covered with two different papers from the collection the bottom part with a floral design and the lid with my favorite paper from this collection the lavender with stars.

I made a lot fussy cut, I can sit for hour with a scissor and paper, it's a therapy!

I gave textures on the lid with a glitter paste and a stencil by Creative Embellishments.

I made the composition with all the images that I cut from the papers. I also added a sticker tag from the collection.

I hope that you like this cute box.
Thank you for stopping by....Have a great weekend!!!
Hugs!
