Creating textures with Die Cuts- Video Tutorial

Hello scrapper friends!  I love textures and I want to show you how I made them on this layout using die cuts. We all have die cuts on our stuff so let's use them to build layers and textures. I made a video tutorial of the process and I hope you have some inspiration. I made this page with the Serendipity collection by Bo Bunny and Pentart products. I started making three doilies with the Mandalay die cut, then I adhered them to my base paper with Pentart Gel Paste. I gave more textures with the Backsplash stencil,  the Primer Paste and the Sugar Glitter Paste. I embellished the page using the Serendipity Noteworthy die cut pieces. I love the combination of textures that  the doilies with the stencil bring to the page. I added some Confetti paste and 3D Powder to create more textures on the background. The lovely photo is from Unsplash. Products I used: Bo Bunny supplies: Serendipity Pattern Paper: Greetings, Life, Feathers Die:

Patina Effect Mixed Media Canvas

Hello everyone!  I have a mixed media canvas to share with today using the Creative Embellishments chipboard.  I love fairies and fantasy themes so I created a canvas with the Film Strip Picture and the Fairies chipboards. Let’s take a look… I created a design using the chipboard Film Strip Pictures and added one of the pretty Fairies inside the big film strip.  Then I added the words Live, Happy from the Happy Word Set inside the other film strips. Then I gave two coats of gesso over all the chipboard pieces and the canvas.  Once it’s dry I gave the Patina effect . I painted the chipboards with the turquoise color then I apply the textured mint green paint and finally I added  the brass color to create the Patina effect that it’s a trend lately . I also added textures with art stones, micro beads, pearls, buttons, flowers and glass beads that I adhered with gel medium. Other products I used: Prima Marketing Patina Effect Paste Art Basics- H
