A Tag to Celebrate!!

Happy Monday!!! Today I like to share with you a tag that I made for Maja Design using the Vintage Spring and Autumn Basics collections. I started with the 1st of May paper and cut out in pieces to create this design that I combined with pieces of draped paper ( I used the white parts of the same paper and draped it). The tittle is a Recollection-wood piece that I painted with gesso and then with acrylic paint. I cut these pretty butterflies from the 6th of May paper- Vintage Spring Basics and the cut out the clock from the No.XVI- Vintage Autumn Basics collection. All these tiny flowers are from Prima, them come in a jar that I get in a scrapbook store years ago. For more inspirations with Maja Design products go ..... Forever Love- Maja Design

Hello lovely scrappers! I continue in the mood to make Spring pages, here in North Carolina everything is turning green and blooming, it looks so pretty! Today I share with you another spring page using various Maja Design collections: Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Summer Basics, Vintage Autumn Basics and Walking in the Forest collection. Here are my kids and this photo make me laugh, I was taking a photo of these two and I said "cheese" and my kids put these funny faces at the same time, lol, that every time I see this photo make me smile and I wanted use it in a page and finally I did it.  I'm playing in OUAS and B71B challenges with my page. I was inspired in the OUAS April sketch and the theme and made the flowers by hand like B71B challenge. Some fussy cutting (clocks) from the XVI paper-Vintage Autumn Basics collection. Hello!!! Today I show you this page that I made with different Maja Design collections, the wonderful about MD papers is that you can mix and match their collection very well...  I worked this layout with lot of layers and textures. I took this photo to my DD and hubby with my cell phone the other day after school and work, they were relaxed but tired after a long day. I combined my DT work with the February challenge at Once Upon an Sketch and I was inspired by Nadia' sketch although at the end...I added a second photo.   I started to cut stripes with different Maja Design papers, distressed them and made layers weaving the stripes.   In my background I used a Prima stencil and homemade molding paste. Some washi tape, stamps, beats, pearls, buttons and paints. Prima flowers and I used a Tim Holtz film die cut. DREAM...& Maja Design February Moodboard

Hello everyone!!! Here it's very cold today, we are expecting a lot of snow and freezing rain during today and tomorrow due to a winter storm approaching, I'm crossing my fingers that the power doesn't go down, so schools are closed and it's a perfect day for scrapbooking but meanwhile I would like to share with you this page that I made with the gorgeous Maja Design papers and the February Moodboard... I made it with different Maja Designs collections: Vintage Autumn Basics, Vintage Summer Basics and Vintage Spring Basics. For a rustic look..the corrugated that I painted with gesso and inks. I draped only one side of the paper to create an offbeat design. I added a crochet trim, jute, floss and a bow of yarn. I made the brickwork with some homemade molding paste and a Prima stencil, then I painted with some blue and grey tones plus some of gesso and distress inks. A Sewing Box...

Hello!  Today I will show this sewing box I made with the gorgeous Autumn Vintage Basics collection by Maja Design.   I used  the paper No. XII for both sides to cover my box added molding paste to create textures around the box. I love the sewing chipboard by Scrapmatts and I added a real zipper and threads with lots of flowers. I put inside my box a needle case, thread, pins and scissor...this is perfect for a gift. Hello! It's time to show you the new Mood Board by Maja Design.  This month we worked with the new gorgeous  "Vintage Autumn Basics" collection. This is my inspiration for this mood board with a photo when I had 6 years old. ...for more inspirations see what the Design team created with it... HERE Here is a sweet photo about my sister's two years old birthday.  These are my childhood friends and guess who I am in the picture?? such lovely memory!
