Hello everyone! I hope all of you are fine. I've been missing in action  but I haven't felt well lately and it's hard for me to be active in social media and my blog when I'm sick, it's horrible feeling sick, right? I continued making my Design Teams assignments and today I will share with you some of my recent projects so  if you have time check my others blog post. Hello! Today I have a canvas and a layout to share with you.  My first project is a fall layout.  Here in NC everything look amazing so I'm still inspired by all the beautiful nature surrounding me.  In this layout I have use the pretty Autumn leaves chippies.  My title is the new chipboard Line Words- Happiness Borders and in the top of my page I added the Corner Annalise.  I started to work my chippies with a coat of gesso, then I applied two coats of Maya Mist with a brush. To enhance my tittle and the top swirl I traced both chippies to create a shadow around them with Tim Holtz distress marker in black color. I gave different tones of color with distress ink to my leaves. Hello! I just received the new and beautiful "A Gift for You" collection and immediately started to prepare my Christmas cards and tags.  Here is one tag that I made using the colors grays, beige and reds from this collection.  I added texture with a stencil and molding paste.  The flower are from Petaloo and Webster Pages. Hello! My lovely niece took a "selfie" and sent it to auntie, isn't that so sweet? I couldn't resist make a page with it.  I worked with the beautiful Coffee in the Arbour collection by Maja Design and 2Crafty Chipboards . I started choosing the Rasberry cupcake paper as my base. I made vertical ripped stripes and distressed them in some papers like Rose garden and Rasberry Jam.  I gave textures to the chippies with Shimmerz Texturez, I applied it and used the heat gun to create lot of cool textures. I cut my border chipboard in half to put the other parts around my page. Prima flowers and Rose chipboard. Happy Monday!!  Here's a mini album that I made for a special friend.  I made the album cover with cardboard and it's 5" x 3 1/2".   I covered with Maja Design papers- Rose Garden- Coffee in the Arbour collection. Then I decorated with the beautiful laces and flowers from Tresor de Luxe . I painted the jute with gesso and added different laces, a little frame and pearls. Some fussy cutting- the clock from Vintage Autumn Basics- No.XVI paper  When you open the mini you see in the first page that I cut the "Days to Remember"  from the paper with the same name  and in the back cover I used the "3rd of May" paper with a heart lace, stencils, molding paste and Shimmerz paints. I made the wood box a month ago, and this is how it looks...very shabby chic and inside is the mini... The mini album has ten pages that I worked with different Maja Design papers, I don't show you all the pages because I don't have permission ...

Hello!  Here's my new page for Tresor de Luxe using their beautiful laces and flowers.  This page is about my boy Alexander when he was a baby crawling around the apartment.  I started my page using the beautiful tulle lace to cover my upper page, then I painted and stamped with the new Finnabair stamps by Prima.  The frames are from 2 Crafty Chipboard and the papers from Maja Design - Spring Vintage Basics collections. I painted the small lace flowers with Glimmer mist, they come in a trim and you find it in Tresor de Luxe shop. I cut the pretty big flower by half to layer my photos. Hello!! Sharing with you my first project with the gorgeous "Coffee in the Arbour" collection by Maja Design. I come this time with a page for a pretty young lady(my oldest niece Nery) so I worked it with doodles, sequins and things that reflect her personality. For the background I used a Heidi Swap mask with molding paste, a stamp and mesh tape.  I worked with Shimmerz Sprintz, Faber Castle-Gelatos, Gesso and watercolor pencils to color it. I cut out these butterflies from the "Butterflies are free" paper and I make my flower leaves from the "Feel the grass between your shoes" paper with a Stampin-Up leave punch. Happy Monday!!! Today I like to share with you a tag that I made for Maja Design using the Vintage Spring and Autumn Basics collections. I started with the 1st of May paper and cut out in pieces to create this design that I combined with pieces of draped paper ( I used the white parts of the same paper and draped it). The tittle is a Recollection-wood piece that I painted with gesso and then with acrylic paint. I cut these pretty butterflies from the 6th of May paper- Vintage Spring Basics and the cut out the clock from the No.XVI- Vintage Autumn Basics collection. All these tiny flowers are from Prima, them come in a jar that I get in a scrapbook store years ago. For more inspirations with Maja Design products go ..... Hello everyone!! Here's my latest DT Maja Design project that I made with the beautiful Ska Vi Ta En Fika? collection. My hubby and I celebrated our 24th Anniversary last March and I wanted to make a page about us. I made a step by step video tutorial that finally I can share with all of you today, I had a many technical problems but I recovered it and you will see my creative process...hope you enjoy it!   I mixed a lot of textures here.... cheesecloth, moss, molding paste, corrugated, metal... This collection has beautiful papers...the design, the colors are awesome! I used the Soders Hojder and the Blommor Pa Bordet from the Fika collection. From Prima: the flowers, mask, dot stamp, junkyard(bulb). From Glitz - stamp. Shimmerz Sprintz- Tuscan Sun and Princess colors. Happy Monday!!! I hope you had a great Mother's Day with your loved ones. Today I share with you my latest Maja Design work, this time I made a fantastic combination with Crochet + Mix Media + Crea Diem = a Romance...take a look. . This page is about my son Alexander and his girlfriend Monique and the story behind this photo...I tell you later... I chose Crea Diem collection: the Sin lyckas smed paper as my base, then I added these two pieces of crochet that I bought at Michaels.  I used the 13Arts gel medium(transparent) like adhesive for the crochet and lace. Next, I painted with Shimmerz in different colors, glimmer mist and 13 arts inks. I was inspired in the OUAS May sketch for this page and in the 13 Art challenge -Vintage Memories.  I painted a piece of lace with glimmer mist and put it between the two crochet pieces. To create a variety of textures I added a metal key and hearts... I cut out the big clock and used like mat for my photo also I add...
