A Princess Selfie

Hello! My lovely niece took a "selfie" and sent it to auntie, isn't that so sweet? I couldn't resist make a page with it.  I worked with the beautiful Coffee in the Arbour collection by Maja Design and 2Crafty Chipboards. I started choosing the Rasberry cupcake paper as my base.

I made vertical ripped stripes and distressed them in some papers like Rose garden and Rasberry Jam.  I gave textures to the chippies with Shimmerz Texturez, I applied it and used the heat gun to create lot of cool textures.

I cut my border chipboard in half to put the other parts around my page.

Prima flowers and Rose chipboard.

Supplies: Coffee in the Arbour by Maga Design: Rasberry cupcake, Rasberry jam and Rose Garden papers. 2Crafty chipboards: Leafy Shrub set, Filigree, Gigi's flowers. Prima Marketing: flowers, crystals, Art Basics- gesso, molding paste. Shimmerz Texturez. Heidi Swapp-stencil. Die Cut ith A View-stencil. Ranger-distres ink

Remember Believing layout for the Magical mid- month reveal at Scrap Around The World

It's Mid-month reveal at Scrap Around The World!!
This is the beautiful and magical  September moodboard... It's adorable!!
It was designed by the lovely
Amy  Voorthuis
from Netherlands.

I tell you that I was very inspired by this magical moodboard, well I believe in fairies, I'm a dreamer....and here's my take...

Here is my daughter Paola when she was eight years old, she loved fairies and asked me to sew her a fairy dress.  I made her the fairy dress and I took this photo, she looked so pretty with her fairy look, I remembered she wanted to sleep wearing the dress, lol.
And this magical moodboard inspired me to scrap this priceless photo.
I worked with two vintage collection by Basic Grey: June bug/park bench paper and pattern paper: two scoops/very berry sundae.
All these pretty chippies are from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Paper Studio- flowers and  Petaloo vine.

Title and gears from 2 Crafty Chipboard. I used a Heidi Swapp stencil, molding paste, some stamps, Color Blooms, Smooch and Stickers in my background work.

Behind my photo I used a Die Cut with a View stencil to create the scallops and a second stencil for the stars.  The glitter stars are chippies from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

I'm not fan of the glitter but I think here need it and I took this photo in a dark area to show you the cool effect the glitter gives in my page ...

A mini album....

Happy Monday!!  Here's a mini album that I made for a special friend.  I made the album cover with cardboard and it's 5" x 3 1/2".   I covered with Maja Design papers- Rose Garden- Coffee in the Arbour collection.
Then I decorated with the beautiful laces and flowers from Tresor de Luxe.

I painted the jute with gesso and added different laces, a little frame and pearls.

Some fussy cutting- the clock from Vintage Autumn Basics- No.XVI paper

When you open the mini you see in the first page that I cut the "Days to Remember"  from the paper with the same name  and in the back cover I used the "3rd of May" paper with a heart lace, stencils, molding paste and Shimmerz paints.

I made the wood box a month ago, and this is how it looks...very shabby chic and inside is the mini...

The mini album has ten pages that I worked with different Maja Design papers, I don't show you all the pages because I don't have permission to show you my friend's photos, it is a surprise gift.

I covered inside and outside with the "2nd of May" paper.  I used both sides of the paper, inside I used the stripes and outside the flowers side.

Supplies: Maja Design: Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Autumn Basics, Coffee in the Arbour collections.  Tresor de Luxe: laces, flowers. Prima Marketing: stencil, molding paste.

Blog Tour...

Last week Kris Berc tagged me to play along with a tour of scrapbooking blogs that has been making its way around.  Kris has a beautiful, clean style you should see her beautiful work....HERE
Thanks Kris for tagged me! :)

Ok I have to answer some questions...

1-What am I working on right now?
Well I received my Prima Educator box that is full of gorgeousness and I need to make room for all these gorgeous products so I'm organizing my scrapbook room.

2- How does it take to create a project?
Normally it take me one day, I'm slower scrapper and I enjoy all the process...not rush only just fun!

3-What are my favorite things I love to create with at the moment?
Pearls, flowers, stencils, stamps, mediums, molding paste and paints....I need them in my project or it is incomplete, lol!

4-How do I become inspired and stay inspired?
My real work(Fashion Designer) inspired me in my pages, a paint, other fellow scrappers, a beautiful product like pretty papers...I found inspirations in everything around me...like a lamp shape for example.

5- What is my signature style?
I worked the paper like my fabrics...In my work you will see a lot of techniques that I use for my dressmaking like draping and pleating papers. I love to mix paper with laces, paints, mediums, different textures but it has to look very feminine, delicate and romantic at the same time.

Well don't forget to visit the sweet Kris and say hi!

Thanks for stopping by...until next time!!!

Hello!! Today I share with you a page that I made for 7Dots Studio with the beautiful "The Love is in the Air" collection. I took this photo to my kids when they were little many years ago,  It is a sweet memory!
I started my page applying  a coat of transparent gel and then I worked my background with the new Finnabair stencil by Prima and homemade molding paste.  I used 7Dots stamps from Cold Country and Nature Walk collections.

I used the scallop stripe stickers and the circular elements to start creating a design in my page. I made two circular photos with a one inch circular punch.

The tittle is a chipboard from the Illumination collection.
