COLOR COMBO GALORE 209


Hi!!!  I hope everybody is fine.  My kids are sick and now I'm too!  Grrr...very difficult for me to make a page when I don't feel well, it takes me a long time to be inspired with something.  This week's Color Combo Galore has this lovely striking color palette and this inspirational photo that was my inspiration.  I was focused in those shelves and I used the lid of a white jewelry box like my frame and tie with the twine.
This is my page........
I have this photo from a vacation we did a few years ago and Paola is wearing this shirt that the colors fits perfect with this color palette and at the same time she has this orange tan, lol! she has a very white skin and every time she took a little of sun she looks like a shrimp or a red apple.  If you follow my blog you know that I love w/b photos but this one goes perfect with the colors.
This is my frame that really is a lid of a jewelry box.
I used two Martha Stewart's paper punches for my circles edges.   The pattern papers are from Basic Grey, Karen Foster, and Webster Pages.
These beautiful butterflies are from Kay's shop.

    Wow, this is so gorgeous! How sweet that you had the perfect photo to go with this challenge. Love the layers with the doilies and how you used the jute for the butterfly trails!     Ooohh Marilyn! your page just popped in the CCG gallery, had to come and looksie for some close-ups! love the butterflies and their trail of string, really so sweet with the key. Ha ha clever you to use the lid of the box as frame, looks really fab. Love the tropical feel to your page sweetie, love how you've built up your clusters and the punching is just yummie! xoxoxo

    Oh wow, this is incredible! I LOVE it! Gorgeous design, love the butterflies and the string leading out from them, all those fussy cut leaves and flowers look awesome and I love the circular design papers...everything is just superb!!! :)
