Hello!!!  ADORE....is the new word for Bird is the Word challenge, a lovely word!!  I adore many things but one of these things is Christmas time, the family traditions...all together reunited, all the good vibes to  be with our loved ones.  I love to see the kids waiting for Santa, their sweet innocence...it's priceless!!! Hello!!!  It's time for the  Bird Is The Word challenge and we have a new word to use in a layout or project and it's... "WISH". I made this page about the lovely relationship between my kids because I wish they keep on supporting and loving each other through their lives, like they have been doing until now. Hi!! I hope everybody is fine!!  I'm going to show you two pages and the first one is "A Special day" I made it for Paper Trail cardboard challenge and for Scrapfit workout #54-It's all Adds Up.   For the Scrapfit workout you need to create a layout with lot and lot of number.  I used the new Graphic 45 line "ABC Prime" these papers and tags have many numbers and clocks that I loved to use on my page.  This ABC Prime line is Beautiful and you can find it at The Paper Trail Store. For the Paper Trail Cardboard challenge you need to use cardboard in your page.  I really love cardboard so this challenge was a piece of cake for me!  I used the cardboard like my photo mats and  a small pieces like embellishments. Hi!!!  How are you?  I've been lost in action for the past weeks because of health problems but thank  God I'm back again!!  I have two great news that I would like to share with all of you...First, I'm Guest Designer at My Creative Scrapbook this month, so happy that Pam gave me this Great opportunity I was working with the album kit that is so Gorgeous!!!  I made 4 pages with this kit but I will show you two of my pages today and in my next post I'll show you the others two layouts.    And the second Great news is that I made the Design Team at Bird is the word...Yess!! so happy that Wendy chose me to join this talented design team.  I made my first page as part of the DT for "Together" is the word and I'm going to show you next. Hi!!!  I hope everybody is fine.  My kids are sick and now I'm too!  Grrr...very difficult for me to make a page when I don't feel well, it takes me a long time to be inspired with something.  This week's  Color Combo Galore has this lovely striking color palette and this inspirational photo that was my inspiration.  I was focused in those shelves and I used the lid of a white jewelry box like my frame and tie with the twine. This is my page........ I have this photo from a vacation we did a few years ago and Paola is wearing this shirt that the colors fits perfect with this color palette and at the same time she has this orange tan, lol! she has a very white skin and every time she took a little of sun she looks like a shrimp or a red apple.  If you follow my blog you know that I love w/b photos but this one goes perfect with the colors. This is my frame that really is a lid of a jewelry box. I used two Martha Stewart's paper punches...

COLOR COMBO GALORE Hello!!! I hope everyone is fine!  I'm so happy because I'm going to take two weeks off from work, yesss! I really need it!  This is a long holiday weekend here, we're celebrating Labor Day this next Monday.  For that reason, I will show you three pages in this post, I'm going on a trip with my family around the island.  This month's theme in Color Combo Galore is all about books and reading.  This week's Designer challenge: Focus on Type-Dictionary or Text type prints and an unusual but lovely color combo, I really love these challenges!!!! And this was my inspiration.....  I made this page about my son Alexander when he had 3 1/2 years old.  One day I came to the room and I found him with his daddy glasses and acting like his dad.  I got my camera and took this photo.   I used Basic Grey papers, Dusty Attic chipboard, CTMH chipboard and papers and American Craft & Bazzil cardstocks.
