Treasuring Memories

Hello everyone!!  It's time for a new video tutorial and this time I made it using the beautiful September Limited Edition kit by My Creative Scrapbook.  Guys this kit is amazing, it's featuring: Blue Fern Frolic collection and chipboard also Marion Smith Designs paper and flowers and the gorgeousness Prima Marketing' products( stencil, Color Bloom, flowers) and more.... I made this page with this fabulous  paper that comes in the kit, did I tell how I love the Marion Smith vintage papers... I played with the alphas of the kit to create this background work that I will show you every step in the video and the end of this post.  This lovely girl is my niece Camilla "la flaca de titi" as I call her affectionately, she has an awesome personality...I love her so much! Well let's take a look... I cut out the title word from one of the Blue Fern collection.  I had a lot of fun playing with the alphas...you will see the process in the video. ...

Hello everyone! I've been sick and disconnected from my blog but I'm back in my feet again and today I share with you one of my August projects and video tutorial for Blue Fern Studios .  I'm using the new Frolic collection that is so beautiful...the papers, chipboards are awesome.  I recently traveled to Colombia to give workshops in a scrapbook event there and this page is about it.. here I am with the other two teachers and the owner of the event, I have three new lovely friends! I selected the Graduated Squares chipboards to create the design in my page.   You will see all the work process of this page in my video tutorial that I hope you  find some inspiration! :)   My title the word "Dream" that I applied stickels  but I can't captured the "frost"effect with the camera. Hello!! Today I share with you my second project for Blue Fern Studios using the beautiful new collection Frolic and I chose the "Mercantile" paper.  I also worked with the pretty chipboards like the "Roman clock" set  and my title "Special" word that I embossed in gold color. This page is a lovely memory of my daughter's 10th birthday party years ago. After I embossed the title I applied gesso with a sponge. I placed the Roman clock chippies around my photo and between my flower cluster. I painted with gelatos the "Blooming Foliage",  then I covered the leaves with gel medium and green micro beads. Hello my scrapper friends!! I hope all you are good and enjoying the summer!!   I'm so excited to share with you my first DT project and video tutorial for Blue Fern Studios .  This page is about a lovely memory, I found this old photo (25 years old) when hubby and I were newlyweds.  I worked with the gorgeous new collection "Frolic" from BFS. I made the background design with the Ring Panel chipboard and you'll see all the creative process in the video tutorial at the end of this post. My title is the "Memories" word chipboard that I painted with gelatos, Color Blooms... I painted with watercolor pencils the "Butterflies Friends" chippie. I added glass beads and micro beads in the ring of the chipboard to create dimension. I stamped with the "Halftone Stamp" and cut out these butterflies from the Dans Le Jardin paper.
