Easy Mixed Media Cards

Hello everyone!! I  share with you today two Shabby Chic- Mixed Media cards with the pretty Creative Embellishments chipboards and the lovely papers
from Studio 75. I chose the beautiful Butterflies Set of three and combined with the Gorgeous Small Border Word Set.

I prime the butterfly with gesso then I painted with white acrylic paint and I did the same steps for the “ravishing” word chipboard. I gave textures with modeling paste and a stencil.

I gave the same treatment to the chipboards in this card but I made a different design. I added some frosted mica flakes and glass beads with modeling paste.

Other supplies I used:
Prima Marketing- Modeling Paste, Heavy Gesso, clear glass beads, flowers

Creating textures with Die Cuts- Video Tutorial

Hello scrapper friends!  I love textures and I want to show you how I made them on this layout using die cuts. We all have die cuts on our stuff so let's use them to build layers and textures. I made a video tutorial of the process and I hope you have some inspiration.
I made this page with the Serendipity collection by Bo Bunny and Pentart products. I started making three doilies with the Mandalay die cut, then I adhered them to my base paper with Pentart Gel Paste.

I gave more textures with the Backsplash stencil,  the Primer Paste and the Sugar Glitter Paste.

I embellished the page using the Serendipity Noteworthy die cut pieces.

I love the combination of textures that  the doilies with the stencil bring to the page.

I added some Confetti paste and 3D Powder to create more textures on the background.

The lovely photo is from Unsplash.
Products I used:
Bo Bunny supplies:
Serendipity
Pattern Paper: Greetings, Life, Feathers
Die: Mandala Die, Ever After Card dies

Patina Effect Mixed Media Canvas

Hello everyone!  I have a mixed media canvas to share with today using the Creative Embellishments chipboard.  I love fairies and fantasy themes so I created a canvas with the Film Strip Picture and the Fairies chipboards. Let’s take a look…
I created a design using the chipboard Film Strip Pictures and added one of the pretty Fairies inside the big film strip.  Then I added the words Live, Happy from the Happy Word Set inside the other film strips. Then I gave two coats of gesso over all the chipboard pieces and the canvas.  Once it’s dry I gave the Patina effect .

I painted the chipboards with the turquoise color then I apply the textured mint green paint and finally I added  the brass color to create the Patina effect that it’s a trend lately .

I also added textures with art stones, micro beads, pearls, buttons, flowers and glass beads that I adhered with gel medium.

Other products I used:
Prima Marketing
Patina Effect Paste
Art Basics- Heavy Gesso, Gel medium
Micro Beads- Bronze
Art Stones
Pearls
Flower

I had a lot of fun playing with the chipboard and the different mediums.  I hope you find some inspiration today.
Thanks for stopping by…Until next time!

Creative Embellishment- July Challenge

Hello my scrapper friends!  Happy July!!! I share with you today my first project for Creative Embellishment. I think I forgot to tell you that I'm on the team, yes! I've been a little complicated lately so excuse me for my craziness. Well let's talk about the challenge,  I will let you the inspiration photo down below and you just  need to be inspired by one element from the photo.  When I saw the photo of the July challenge I have been inspired by all the stars and the celebration theme.

I choose the beautiful : Stars is my Universe Frame that I applied two coats of gesso and then applied Sugar Glitter Paste to the stars. It gives a sparkly effect to all the stars and looks  fantastic in person. My paper is from the Vintage Summer collection by Maja Design.

I love the textures that the sugar glitter by Bo Bunny brings to the stars. I also added textures to the background with a Heidi Swap stencil , modeling paste and the sugar glitter by bo bunny.

I placed a piece of cheesecloth behind the chipboard and added art stones, mika flakes with gel medium.

And because it is a page about celebrate love I added the word love as my title from the Happy Word Set that I gave the same techniques that I made to the frame

Other supplies I used:
Patter Paper- Maja Design- Vintage Summer collection
Modeling Paste, Gesso, Gel Medium, Art Stones, Frosted Mika- Prima Marketing
