Celebrate Layout & Video Tutorial for Graphic 45

Hello my scrapper friends! I’m so excited to share with you my first project as Graphic 45 Ambassador. I created a layout using one of my favorites collection Botanical Tea

I started giving textures to the polka dot paper with a stencil and modeling paste. I dab the Antiquing Dye Ink over the acrylic mat and I mixed it with water to paint all the stencil work. I let it dry.

I took one tag from the Regular Ivory Tag Albums to mat the photo. I distressed with the ClearSnap Decades Dye Pad all the edges of the tag and the photo.

I cut out the flowers, butterflies, birds and, leaves from the papers.

Once I created the design on my page with the different chipboard, stickers and die cuts pieces, I added  3D foam tape on the back of them. It added dimension and highlight these elements.

I added some art stones with gel medium to create more textures and for a feminine touch, I added some pearls here and there. You can watch all the creative process in the video tutorial.

Here's the beautiful Botanical Tea collection...

Traveler Tags

Hi my scrapper friends! I want to share with you a couple of tags with the video tutorial that I made using the new World Traveler collection by Bo Bunny.
I love to travel so I had fun creating with this collection. I tried to highlight the vintage look of this collection using brown, copper inks. But let me start from the beginning, I cut two pieces 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" from two different ivory papers from the collection. I gave textures with the Backsplash stencil and modeling paste.

In my first tag,  I adhered some clocks and gears that I cut out  from the Bo Bunny's craft dies with a brown paper from the collection. To give dimension and interest I adhered some die cut from the Noteworthy package with adhesive foam dots.

In the second tag, I used the same elements but created a different composition.

These are three of the products that I used to create the tags. The Noteworthy package with all the fantastic die cuts pieces so easy to work with them, the brads that I added to my first tag to bring the metallic look. And for my second tag I gave a sparkle look with some jewels.

You can see here from this angle the dimension and layers that I created on the tags with the different die cuts and elements.

You want to see how I made them, don't miss my video tutorial below!

World Traveler Layout - Bo Bunny

Hi scrapper friends! I want to share with you a project that I created using the new Word Traveler collection by Bo Bunny.

I travel to different countries in order to teach mixed media and scrapbooking classes. Last month, I went to Ecuador and took this photo with the beautiful mountains on the back. When I saw this collection I knew they were the perfect papers for this picture as the theme and colors match perfectly.

I started by selecting this paper with neutral colors and nautical designs as the background, and added textures using a clock stencil with modeling paste.

I started to create my design using the die cuts pieces, stickers and letters that I made with the alphabet punch board.

I adhered 3D foam dots behind the die cuts, photo and letters to add dimension and interest in some areas on my page.

I added textures with beads around the letters to highlight them and painted their background with a burgundy color.

Here are three different products and tools that I used on this project. The Alphabet punch board with witch I made the letters for my title. The clock stencil to give that awesome textures on the background and added the green color touches with the mint glimmer spray.

Being Puerto Rican, I couldn't resist to cut out the postal card from Luquillo, Puerto Rico from one of the papers and adhered behind my photo.

I cut some tags from the papers and adhered them behind the top of the photo.

June LE kit- My Creative Scrapbook

Hi there!! Here's my first project with the beautiful Limited Edition kit by My Creative Scrapbook. Pam put together fantastic products in this kit. It is featuring the Havana collection by Prima Marketing, fabulous chipboards by Creative Embellishments, fantastic stencils by Vicky Boutin and much more...  Now let me show you what I did with the kit and I also made the video tutorial 😊
I love this paper I think is my favorite from this collection. My challenge was how to highlight the photo with this busy paper but I think I got it right. I cut a heart shape on the paper and adhered a piece of  green paper from the same collection. You can watch all the creative process in the video on my YouTube channel.

I used the chipboard and die cuts from the same collection to decorate around the photo and flowers.

I was inspired on the same paper design to create the background. I adhered letters from the ABC here and there, then I gave a coat of gesso over all the textures .

I embossed the frames in mint color. The flowers were peach and white but I took the pink distress ink to paint them.

Finally I added some art stones, micro beads and pearls.  You can join the club to receive a kit each month direct to your door. For more information and inspirations with this kit go......HERE

Birdhouse

Hi there! I hope you are good and ready for the weekend!  I have an altered project to share with you today.  I bought this wood birdhouse  at Michael's and altered with the Creative Embellishments products.

I started covering with pattern paper all the sides of the birdhouse.  I gave textures with the Crackled Brick Stencil and Modeling Paste only on  the sides and the front panels.

I covered the roof with the Distressed Chicken Wire Border that I adhered with Tacky glue.   I adhered art stones with gel medium. Once it’s dry,  I painted the roof with white acrylic paint.

I gave a coat of gesso to the Autumn Leaves and the Love Lock and Key Border Set  . I made a composition with all these elements and adhered them to the birdhouse. I added art stones, pearls and glass beads to give more textures. I painted it with metallic rose paint. After dry, I applied the sponge with gesso.

I hope it inspire you today.

Early Bird collection- BoBunny

Hi scrapper friends! I want to share with you a page that I created with the new Early Bird collection by Bo Bunny.
Spring is my favorite season. I love the flowers, the colors of the season, and all of the butterflies and birds flying around because they make me smile. The Early Bird collection shows all of this! It was hard to select the papers because I love all them, but I chose this green paper with the handwriting design, to which I gave textures with the stencil and modeling paste.

I cut out the butterflies and flowers from the papers.

These beauties are the granddaughters of a friend and I think the photo goes perfect with this collection.

Once I created the design on my page with the different die cuts pieces, doilies, etc.. I added some jewels swirls and some pearl dots for a feminine touch on my page.

I love giving dimension to my projects so I added adhesive foam dots on the back of the flowers and doilies so I can highlight these elements and give more interest on certain details.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you find some inspiration.
You can see more inspirations with this collection at BoBunny's blog....HERE

Beautiful Layout- My Creative Scrapbook

Hi there!! I made this page about my nieces using the May LE kit by My Creative Scrapbook and I recorded all the creative process that you can watch in the video tutorial at the end of the post or on my YouTube Channel. Let's take a look....
This paper is my favorite from the Love Story collection by Prima Marketing featured this month in the Limited Edition kit.
I started preparing the paper with gesso clear then I gave textures with the 12 x 12 kit' stencil and modeling paste.

These are my lovely nieces Camila and her little sister Milena. I made this page for them.  I painted with ivory acrylic paint the chipboard and cut it by half to make two pieces that I used in the corners of the photo.

I added some die cuts from the ephemera package but I made fussy cutting from the papers to create this composition.

I made a paste with the mini art stones and gel medium that I spread over all the stencil work on the page.

I cut and distressed the title from the papers.

Baby Boy Shabby Chic Layout

Hello scrapper friends! I made a boy page to share with you today, yes you read well , lol! It's a challenge for me to create boy pages because my style is romantic if I can call it in that way but I did it. I made this page with this precious model that is Nicole's grandson (the owner of Creative Embellishments). Let's take a look...
I started creating textures with the Falling Stars Stencil and modeling paste over the paper from the Forget Me Not collection by Lemoncraft. While the texture were drying, I worked with the chipboards and I applied gesso to all of them, then I embossed all the pieces with pearl embossing powder.

I cut the Butterfly flourish by half and adhered to the bottom corner . I also adhered from the Baby Word Set my title..Baby Boy.

To highlight this beautiful picture I placed it over the Easter frame.  I adhered the baby boots from the Baby Set.

I added more textures with art stones, glass beads and pearls .

Other supplies I used:
Prima Marketing:
gesso, modeling paste, art stones, white pearl metallic paint-Finnabair, flowers
Ranger- embossing dabber
Blue Fern Studios- pearl embossing powder
