Vintage Christmas Cards- Blue Fern Studios

Hi everyone! I can't believe in eleven days it will be Christmas day, so I've been making Christmas cards like crazy but I wanted to make them without dimension, you know sometimes it's hard to mail the card with lot of layers, flowers, etc... So I sat and made four flat cards with the Vintage Christmas 1 and 2 by Blue Fern Studios.
This collection is so beautiful that I just cut out some of the images, created a little of dimension with foam tape but not too much ;) , added textures with modeling paste, lace, some paint splatter, glitter and although have details, I can mail them by mail in a normal envelope.
I'm going to show one by one ...

I framed this card with lace, added a small soft blooms and in the background I added gel medium with glitter and white paint splatters.

I created a thin layer behind the paper with cheesecloth and lace. I cut out the adorable image from one of the paper and the sentiment from the Holidays card paper.

I tear the white paper to recreate a snow hill and added white paint splatters and pearlescent for the snow effect.

I painted the village chipboard with distress ink then I added texture paste to recreate the snow in the roof and in the trees. I made the same effect from my previous card and tear white paper to make the snow hills but this time I added glitter. I added the textures in the background with a stencil and modeling paste The sentiment is from one of the papers.

Thanks for stopping by...Until next time!
Hugs!xx
