Sketchabilities #63, Bird is the Word and Scrapfit

Hi!!  This is my first design team work for SKETCHABILITIES.  I made this page about three special girls for me...my sister Karen and my two nieces Sabrina and Fabiola.  I used my MCS November limited edition kit that have these gorgeous Glitz papers.

The lovely sketch by Karan Gerber, you can see what the other DT girls made with this sketch....HERE.

 More details...
I stamped the background with the brick Prima stamp.

Now is your turn, use the lovely sketch and load your page at sketchabilities' blog.

BIRD IS THE WORD "Remember"
and
SCRAPFIT Workout

I combined two design
team works in my next page.  The new word is "Remember" at BITW and in Scrapfit the workout is "The simple things" that make you happy and for me is  the occurrences  of  my children like you can see in this picture.  This is my last work for Scrapfit, I've
been in the Design Team for a full year.

I used the sketch of Creative Scrappers #190 for this page.

And the color palette of CSI:Case File #1

More details...

Prima Flower

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard, Bo Bunny papers
Would you like to be the next guest designer at Bird is the Word... well this is your opportunity, play with us and if your page is the winner you will be our next GDT...more details go HERE

  19. Great details in both pages- I always love how you mix flowers, feathers, glitter and lace in your pages without overwhelming the final design- there is still plenty of white space and your color combinations are always spot on. The second page gave me a bit of a start- it's so sweet then the teeth jump out and surprise the viewer- that's awesome! The transparency in the first page is wonderful as well- I keep forgetting to use mine!
