| Hello blogger friends!!! First of all Thank you so much for all the sweet comments and best wishes for me in my last post. They made me very happy..you are Awesome!!! For every negative experience we learn or laugh about something... I happened to have to go to the doctor(orthopedic) and I couldn't move my arm and had to comb my hair, my girl was at school, well I sat in my bed and my hubby comb my curly hair or at least tried...he made me a pony tail that was he told me and when I saw me at the mirror, OMG!!! that was a sun-like pony tail...I looked like a sun with explotions with the hair standing and I started to laugh and laugh that I forgot my pain. He fixed it, yes he went to my closet and brought my black suede hat and put it on me. I had to go with the hat to the doctor's office either it was that or I had to go with my sun-like pony tail. After all I think the people in the office when they saw me with the hat and the orthopedic cast they understood what happens. But everytime I remember I still laugh. Well now to show you the page I did for Bird is the Word challenge and the new word is "JOURNEY" You can use this word in the tittle or your journal page. I made my page about one of our trips as a couple, we had great memories. You can see the rest of the DT's work at Bird is the Word, we love to see how you interpret this word. I combined my DT work with TCR 95 color palette. |

Dear Marilyn, I hope you are doing good by now.. I love ALL your layout, I have to say I love the striking effect of most of your LOs! ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the fall didn't affect your sunny sense of humor- you'll get better faster because you can find joy in everything. That Color Room page is simply GORGEOUS! Your layering on it is totally jaw dropping! I have to try that sketch. The second project is just as beautiful- you really are a craft person- everything is perfectly placed and well executed- it's wonderful to visit your blog and see what attention to detail and good technique can do for an already wonderful page- SPECTACULAR! Congrats on the Glitz win- that page was fantastic- if I were Glitz I would ask you to be on the DT!
