A Large Christmas Tag and a card for the new challenge at Creative Embellishments

Hi!!! I share with you today two projects, the first one is a Christmas Big Tag and the second is a card that I made for the December challenge at Creative Embellishment blog.  Let's start with the tag...
I started applying a coat of white gesso to one of the Large Tags. I gave the brick textures on the background with modeling paste and the Crackled Brick Stencil.  I created a design with  the Feeling The Love Frame and the Acorn Clusters , then I adhered them to the tag with gel medium and gave other coat of white gesso.

I created layer of textures adhering art stones, pearls, cheesecloth, buttons, flowers, etc… I applied color with mists and distress oxides inks.

I gave gold color touches with the Metallic watercolors. The final touch was white paint splatters.

Other supplies I used:
Mist:
Blue Fern Studios Imagine Ink- Persimmon, Cotton Candy
Prima Marketing:
Color Blooms- Gold Foil
Art Basics- Heavy Gesso, Gel medium, Modeling Paste
Art stones, Pearls
Ranger:
Distress Oxides Ink- Vintage Photo

Believe Card

It 's my project inspired in the beautiful challenge's image.
I have been inspired by the blue sky full of stars in the challenge photo to create this card. I took a piece of white cardstock and painted  with distress oxides in blue colors.   I put the Distressed Circle Stencil over it and sprayed water, with a paper towel I absorbed the excess of water, then I removed carefully the stencil and I get the circular design. I painted with gold metallic paint the Believe from the Christmas Sentiments and the star from the Buttons.

The challenge is to be inspired by one element from the picture below and the twist is to use a border on our project.

I hope you find some inspiration today.
Thanks for stopping by...until next time!
Hugs!

Fall layout with Beautifully Brisk by Bo Bunny

Hello everyone!  I share with you today a fall layout that I created using the Beautifully Brisk collection. Fall is my favorite season I love the colors everything looks so beautiful and I had so much fun working with this beautiful collection. I started making circular stitches in the area that I'll place the photo on the Bright pattern paper. I took a sponge with white gesso to give the sponging technique on the background, it gives a nice texture. I used the layered chipboard and the Noteworthy die cuts to decorate and make the composition. I cut a clock using the Tick Tock die. I painted a piece of cheesecloth in green color and added between the layers to add more dimension and textures. The collections comes with brads, layered chipboard and die cuts that makes it easy to design with. I adhered the die cuts and some chipboard pieces with dimensional foam dots.  I added a few brads, pearls and jewels to enhance the background. Finally, I added wh...
