Treasuring Memories

Hello! Today I will share you the January challenge at Scrap Around The World, hosted by Kim Ewins from Australia. Feel free to interpret the mood board in any way you like,   using one image,  several of them, all of them or even just   one  aspect  of an image,  using ANY COLOURS!   Here's my inspiration... I was inspired in the sky blue and ivory colors of the moodboard and worked with  Maja Design papers for this page.  This is a memory of a family/friends trip to Aruba, years ago.  I love the beach photo so I tried to make a wave draping the blue paper and I always love to incorporate jute in my pages to give this rustic look and one of the mood photos has balls with jute...so perfect! A different angle of the flower cluster and the draped. Hello! Happy New Year!! wishing to all of you the best in 2014! Well, I've been without internet service these last days, hmmm... not easy :(  But today I'm going to show you a page with the new collection Vintage Frost Basic and the winner of my giveaway! I made this page about my nieces Fabiola and Camila, I took this photo of my nieces together this last November.   I already miss these sweet girls..:(  I worked this page with the 4th, 5th, 6th of December papers and the Christmas diecut paper.  I made layers with lace, corrugated and paper doily and for more texture molding paste. ...some fussy cutting from the Christmas die cut paper. Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing you my last project like design team for Berry71Bleu . It was a wonderful year in this team..Thanks Marivic! This month Kay is hosting the December challenge that is all about.."JOY" I made a page about one hobby that brings me joy and I'm not talking about scrapbooking, lol! that I loove it!  I also enjoy photography or in other words take photos because I'm not a professional, I'm only a mom with a camera in hand trying to capture these little daily moments and the important ones, too.  I took this picture to my biggest niece Nerymar, she is a little shy girl but the day that she was wearing this Santa costume, she was projecting a positive attitude like a real model, I called the sexy Santa and I captured it through my camera lenses. Hello friends! I hope all of you are having a great Christmas season! It was an unusual Christmas time for me with my overseas move, these last weeks were so stressful but finally I'm in my new lovely place at North Carolina and to complete I got sick...grrrr!   I really need a few days to recover and rest.  We decorated our Christmas tree the 24th so you can imagine how I'm late with my things but happy that we all are together again. Hello everyone!!! I hope all of you are fine! I'm still super busy here, these are my last days here in PR and I'm behind my schedule... a lot of things to do and not much time..hmmm  but I scheduled my posts so you will see during the week the projects I made and I don't know how I did it,  because I have like a thousand things in my mind...Oh gosh, an overseas move is a pain !
